Hey, cartoons are not just for kids! Some of these are kids shows, but many of them are definitely not. Adult situations and raunchy humour abound.
This show is so ... so ... strange. It is a Japanese Anime show that did not go over well in Japan. It attracted a cult following here in the States, though, which prompted a second season to be made. It is about Roger Smith and his search for memories - no one in Paradigm City can remember anything prior to 40 years ago. It must be watched more than once to get the full meaning and is available on DVD. (I got mine!)
Politically Incorrect, but funny as hell! If you're easily offended, don't watch! I swear, I think I laugh more watching this show than any other - even when I know each episode by heart, I still laugh at the stupid jokes! Eh, maybe it's just me.
A Japanese Anime show I watch on Adult Swim on The Cartoon Network. It's about two young brothers who are alchemists. It's cool.
Hey, it's the future! Aliens, robots, even an old guy - what's not to love?
An adorable show about adorable little ham-hams! I guess that's what they call hamsters in Japan - ham-hams. The little ham-hams escape from their cages while their owners are away and meet up at their club house for adventures. It's cute!
I've gotten into this Anime show about a half Human/half Dog Demon and his search for the pieces of a sacred crystal. The characters are great and there's always another monster around the corner.
Yeah, it's called Kim Possible, but it's all about the Naked Mole Rat, I'm tellin' ya! Rufus RULES!
The first Japanese Anime show I got hooked on. Lupin and his team are master thieves and they're relentlessly persued by Inspector Zenigata. It's part James Bond and part It Takes a Thief.
I had seen the movie on Cartoon Network and wasn't all that impressed. The series, though, adds three more paper masters and an author. Yomiko Readman is joined by the Three Sisters Detective Agency and an old author friend named Nenene Sumerigawa. The paper master sisters are Michelle, Maggie and Anita. Anita is a hoot and half - it's worth watching just for her! But I love the show cuz these ladies (aside from Anita) just LOVE books and as someone who once spent an entire two weeks pay check in a book store, I can relate. While Anita hates books, she adores plushies - with which I can also relate.
Yeah, it's a kids show, but it's all about Siamese cats and I love Siamese cats.
Okay, okay, it's stupid! And I'm mainly including it here to irritate a friend (Hey, Anny!) But, hey, a little mindless entertainment once in a while can't hurt!
An Anime show on Adult Swim. It was taken off before I could figure out just what it was about, but it's back now. There are some cool characters and I've got the impression that Vash may be an alien? LOVE the little black cat that pops up everywhere!
This show ROCKS! Yeah, it's stupid, but funny, and I love Patrick Warburton who is the voice of Brock Sampson. My guy says it's a spoof on Johnny Quest, but I never watched that show. Anyway, VB pretty much spoofs everything! GO TEAM VENTURE!
